Have gone to Nicky's for years, good Gyros and Beefs.They allowed my daughter to sit there for several hours waiting to be picked up on Halloween. Thank you for having a safe, warm place for our kids!

Love the food but the old lady at the register is always cranky. Never friendly no matter how hard I try to make her smile.

This place is the best. Great food, large portions. Definitely will be going back. Well worth the money.

Great prices on good food. The exception is too hot inside there in warm weather and too damn cold in there in winter...

It's unbelievable that mask requirement isn't posted on the door. Because of this, there were customers who weren't wearing masks. Even more disturbing, the staff weren't wearing masks. Nicky's blatant disregard of the state's face covering mandate is foolish. It's people and businesses like Nicky's that perpetuate the virus. .Nobody is thrilled about wearing masks, we all want to live...it beats wearing a ventilator.

Been going here for years. I had almost everything on the menu. Never left disappointed or hungry. We ordered carry out today got a bag full of big baby double cheeseburgers, hot dogs and fries. The bill ended up under $20. Dinner for the whole family.

The food was Great! From pizza puff, gyro, maxwell polish, shrimp & fries! Hot & fresh!

Love their Italian beef, dipped with hot peppers. Lots of meat, sliced thin and very flavorful. You also can get a good sized crispy skin on french fries. I just wished they had it as a combo meal.

The have literally the best gyros I've ever tried. Been going by them for years and still they are the best!! They work super fast fo get your food done so you are in and out quick. Thank God you guys are here.

You know this is one of those places that have been there for ever. Kinda good tasting good old American faire - Hotdogs, Polish, Hamburgers etc much more . Which means their patrons love it! Including me.

If you have a chance stop in. Got the gyro plate for myself and I could have ded my family. 3 hour dog special made my son happy and double cheeseburger mmt daughter said was flavorful and filling. A must place to visit if you're in the area. We will be back!

Just like everyone else I’ve eaten here since I was a little kid, I’ve lived down the street for YEARS and it’s my absolute favorite spot for gyros - if you get a platter they can barely close it - AMAZING - so flavorful and so good! I come here every time I’m back in town now. Weird parking, gets crowded at times, and this place is cash only so come prepared. All in all a great Chicago staple in the great food belt

Best Italian beefs & gyros I ever had. The amount of meat they put on these bad boys are insane enough for two people. I moved to the north side of Chicago and still drive miles just to have their food 😩💞👌🏻

Zero stars. You guys are honestly disgusting!!! Wearing no masks! Most of the cooks have no gloves, the ones that did they were torn at the fingertips. I had to leave as I was placing an order all I could see is them touching food with no gloves. Honestly this place should be shut down!

I've been here a couple of times. Their fries are super good and I liked a gyro sandwich as well. My last visit was 3 hot dogs with everything and I think they were the best I ever had.

Always the best best best experience. We moved out of state 4 years ago but we ALWAYS make it back to Nicky's. The lady who handles the customers (and I'm sure a whole lot more) feels like a part of my childhood. ❤ Look at this freaking gyro platter!! 🤯🤤

I love this place and wanted to give it a five star rating. However, due to the pandemic and Illinois mask mandate I have to give it less stars. I have been here multiple times and NONE of the workers wear mask. They also don’t reinforce the mask mandate. As a teacher and health care provider it would be risky for me to continue to come here. I implore that the management enforce the mask mandate to their workers before the state finds out and close them down. The food is good but you need to follow the rules.

It's very good food at a fair price and do now accept credit and debit cards and the staff is very friendly I was there today

I love their 3 hot dogs plus fries for $ 6.00 and some change which is not bad for beef hot dogs.

Their service and business fell off years ago. Ever wonder why they cover up their cash register with a plastic trash bag. It's so that it doesn't malfunction or become damaged when they spray the bug spray every evening when they close. You know they have an insect problem when they do that. Don't believe me? Then drive by during the early morning hours before they open and you'll see that bag over their register.

Look, simply put, if you want the best gyros platter on the planet, go to Nicky's. I used to live in the area and ate there all the time. Now I'm 20 minutes away, but it's worth the trip. We buy two platters, two extra pitas, and it feeds my family of six with some meat left over. The best!

Been eating here since I was a wee munchkin. 34 yrs old now and this place is still as good as it was when I was 10. If your looking for healthy food, go someplace else. Only reason I dont give 5 stars is because of the CASH ONLY policy. Its 2019, come on...... other than that, A++ rating for the tasty food.

Great food!! Comes out hot, fresh, and fast! Lots of parking. Staff was friendly, and no errors were made in our order. Small dining room, but great for take out.

Their gyro sandwich is great. Buy an extra pita and sauce and there's enough meat on one sandwich to make two. Great greasy fries.

Went to Nicky's today (5/14/20) the food was amazing, as I expected it would be! I'm sorry to report that, not one person working there was wearing a protective mask or gloves. I was very disheartened by this! I don't think I feel safe returning there until they are willing to show they care about the safety of themselves and their customers

My grandmother would bring me here as a child and I still come here when I'm in state. The gyros have always been flavored the same. Great tzaziki sauce. Always had an honest price and a clean restaurant. Been here for 35 years that I know of. I recommend it.
